Peri peri Chicken Rice Bowl

Key Products

Method:

  1. Wash and soak the rice for 20 minutes. Meanwhile in a pan add oil, butter, garlic and onion. Saute till softened.
  2. Add the mentioned spices to the chicken and Dipitt Peri Peri Sauce and mix well.
  3. Grill or pan-fry the marinated chicken breasts until fully cooked and slightly charred. Set aside.
  4. To the pan with sautéed onions and garlic, add chicken stock and soaked rice. Let it come to a boil.
  5. In the end add capsicum, tomatoes and green chilli. Reduce the heat to low and cover the pan.
  6. Cook for 10 minutes, then turn off the heat and keep the pan covered for 5 to 7 minutes.
  7. Add coriander. Then serve hot with the chicken.
