Chicken Wrap Recipe For Lunch

Aren’t you in the mood of having the regular lunch that you have almost every day? Then you can try the chicken wrap. Though the meal may look light for the lunch apparently, it will make you feel full and you won’t be hungry for a long time. It is a very healthy food that will give you a lot of energy without gaining weight. 

Chicken Wrap Recipe Ingredients

  • Chicken strips ½ kg
  • Soy sauce 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp or to taste
  • Salt ½ tsp or to taste
  • Garlic powder 1 tsp
  • Dipitt Mayonnaise 3/4 Cup
  • Dipitt chili garlic sauce 5 tbs
  • Dipitt tomato ketchup 3 tbs
  • Honey 1 tsp
  • Vinegar 1 tsp
  • Cooking oil 1 tbs
  • Carrot julienne ½ Cup
  • Onion sliced 1 Cup
  • Capsicum julienne 1 Cup
  • Cabbage 1 Cup
  • Salt 1/4 tsp or to taste
  • Black pepper crushed ½ tsp
  • Corn flour ½ Cup
  • All-purpose flour sifted ½ Cup
  • Paprika powder 1 tsp
  • White pepper powder 1 tsp
  • Dried oregano ½ tbs
  • Chicken powder 1 tbs
  • Eggs 2
  • Water 2-3 tbs or as required
  • Cooking oil for frying
  • Tortillas

First, you need to prepare the chicken. For this, take a bowl and add the chicken strips, salt, garlic powder, red chili powder, and Dipitt soy sauce. Marinade this mixture for about half an hour. Now you have to prepare the special sauce. For this, you need Dipitt mayonnaise, Dipitt chili garlic sauce, Dipitt tomato ketchup, honey, and vinegar. Now it’s time to prepare the vegetables. Put julienned carrot, cabbage, and capsicum and sliced onion in a heated pan having oil. Add some black pepper and stir fry until soft and cooked.

You now need to prepare a batter for frying the chicken strips. For this, you need to mix half a cup of all-purpose flour and cornflour with a few tablespoons of water. You also need to add paprika powder, white pepper, chicken powder, and dried oregano. Then add two eggs whisked.

After that dip, the chicken strips into the batter and deep fry on medium heat till they turn golden brown. Take a bowl to keep the fried chicken strips and mix half of the prepared sauce with it. Then take a tortilla and spread some of the sauce, add the stir-fried vegetables and the fried chicken strips. Wrap the tortilla and serve.

This is a very healthy dish for those who are conscious about their weight. You have carbohydrates, protein, vitamins, and a little bit of fat in it. It can have a delicious and healthy lunch.
