Korean Beef Bao Buns

Beef Boneless Cubes300 g
Dipitt Soy Sauce1-2 tbsp
Egg1
Cornflour3-4 tbsp
Assembly
Dipitt Korean Hot Sauceas required
Freshly Chopped Iceberg Lettuceas required
Pickled Carrotsas required
Pickled Cucumbersas required
Dipitt Garlic Mayo Sauceas required

Key Products

Method:

  1. Mix Sugar, Instant Yeast, and Lukewarm water. Cover & let it rest for 15 mins.
  2. Mix All-Purpose Flour, Milk powder, salt, Baking Powder, and, then add 3 tbsp cooking oil & yeast mixture, and water as required to form a smooth dough. Leave it for 1 hour.
  3. After an hour, take the dough, roll it out, cut into circle shapes, put oil, fold in half & steam for around 10-15 minutes in the steamer.
  4. Marinate Beef with egg, cornflour and Dipitt Soy Sauce for about 15 minutes before (deep) frying. Deep-fry for about 7-8 minutes until medium well.
  5. Mix the Cooked beef with Dipitt Korean Sauce and cut the pickled carrots & cucumbers finely julienne & soak in vinegar.
  6. Take the steamed Bao Buns and add chopped Iceberg lettuce, Korean Beef, and pickled cucumbers & carrots.
  7. Drizzle Dipitt Garlic Mayo on top and serve.
