Spicy Shrimp with Rice
Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 large green pepper, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1/2 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
1/2 cup minced fresh parsley
1 jar (4 ounces) diced pimientos, drained
1 to 2 tablespoons Dipitt hot sauce1/4 teaspoon onion salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 pounds uncooked large shrimp, peeled and deveined
5-2/3 cups hot cooked rice
Preparation
Take 1 pound skinless and boneless raw chicken, add 2tbsp corn starch and mix together
Heat oil in a wok. Add marinated chicken and fry till fully cooked.
Add 2tbsp minced ginger and garlic, a dash of oil and fry
Add ½ medium onion cut into wedges, peas, carrots, beans, cauliflower and continue to stir fry.
Add ½ cup chicken stock/ water to the wok, add 2tbsp Dipitt Soy Sauce and cornstarch, and set aside.
Add 1tbsp red pepper flakes, chicken stock, Dipitt Soy Sauce and Cornstarch mixture as well as 1tsp sugar.
Finally add cooked chicken and 1tbsp Dipitt Oyster Sauce. Garnish with spring onions.
