Shepherd’s Pie
The Best Classic Shepherd’s Pie – AKA Shepards Pie or Cottage Pie. Ground Beef (or lamb) with vegetables in a rich gravy, topped with cheesy mashed potatoes, and baked.

Ingredients
| Beef Mince | 500 g |
| Onions chopped | 1 medium |
| Carrot grated | 1 small |
| Garlic chopped | 2tbspn |
| Dipitt Pasta sauce | 1/2 cup |
| Crushed Chili | half tspn |
| Oregano | 1tspn |
| Bayleaf | 2 Bunch |
| Oil | 3tbspn |
| Potatoes | 1/2 kg |
| Butter | 100g |
| Milk | 100ml |
| Chives | for garnish |
| Parsley | for garnish |
| Salt & Pepper | to taste |
| Tomato Paste | 2tbspn |
| French bread loaf | for serving |

Method
- In a hot pan add chopped onions and carrots sauce for couple of mins then add chopped garlic cook for a minute , then add mince meat and sear it.
- Then add tomato puree 1/2 cup dipitt pasta sauce and all the spices mix well then add water and simmer for 45mins
- In a separate bowl Mash the boiled potatoes, then add butter, milk, seasonings and dipitt habanero sauce
- In a baking dish layer the meat sauce top with mashed potatoes sprinkle some parsley and crushed chillies and bake for about 15 2o mins
- Delicious shepherds pie is ready to serve with garlic bread
