The Best Classic Shepherd’s Pie – AKA Shepards Pie or Cottage Pie. Ground Beef (or lamb) with vegetables in a rich gravy, topped with cheesy mashed potatoes, and baked.

Method

  1. In a hot pan add chopped onions and carrots sauce for couple of mins then add chopped garlic cook for a minute , then add mince meat and sear it.
  2. Then add tomato puree 1/2 cup dipitt pasta sauce and all the spices mix well then add water and simmer for 45mins
  3. In a separate bowl Mash the boiled potatoes, then add butter, milk, seasonings and dipitt habanero sauce
  4. In a baking dish layer the meat sauce top with mashed potatoes sprinkle some parsley and crushed chillies and bake for about 15 2o mins
  5. Delicious shepherds pie is ready to serve with garlic bread
