Filling

Prepared BBQ Chicken (shredded)250 g
Capsicum (chopped)1/2 cup
Mozzarella or Cheddar cheese (shredded)1/2 cup
Salt & Pepperto taste
Dried Oregano1/2 tsp
Slurry

Method:

Marinade: 

  1. In a bowl, mix all ingredients until the chicken is well coated.
  2. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Cook in a pan until tender and slightly charred. Set aside to cool.

Filling:

  1. In a bowl, combine BBQ chicken, capsicum, cheese, salt, pepper, and oregano.
  2. Mix well and set aside.

Slurry:

  1. Mix flour with water to form a smooth, thick paste (used for sealing samosa sheets).

Assembly:

  1. Take a samosa sheet, place 1 tbsp of filling in the centre.
  2. Fold into a box shape, sealing the edges with the prepared slurry.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry on medium heat until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Remove and drain excess oil on paper towels.
